Legacy hosts “Future of Family” event series in NYC

Last week, Legacy hosted the second of its series of Future of Family events at The Wren in New York City. The gathering of fertility executives and experts is part of an effort to re-contextualize the conversation around family planning and reproductive health. The event was attended by a number of women’s health startups and fertility clinics including Extend Fertility, TMRW, Kindbody, Natalist, and Ovia.

This event follows the success of its first gathering in San Francisco, where the company was based during its time at Y Combinator. The event, focused on fertility entrepreneurs on the West Coast, included Ava Fertility, Modern Fertility, and Spring Fertility. A select group of journalists from TechCrunch, Forbes, and other media publications attended as well.

The growing reception of these private events not only speaks to progress around the space but serves as a testament to Legacy’s mission to support women-focused and run health startups.” The battle to destigmatize infertility, miscarriage, IVF, and other conception factors begins with broadening awareness around these issues,” said Legacy founder and CEO, Khaled Kteily. “I am proud to shine a light on these issues alongside an outstanding group of health positive institutions working to help people achieve their most personal goals.”

The Future of Family series is an instrumental part of Legacy’s social efforts to bring men’s reproductive health to the forefront of the fertility conversation. As an advocate of proactive family planning, Legacy is rallying men to become more aware and involved in preserving their legacy. In the coming days, Legacy will publish its Future of Fatherhood report, which was shared privately with attendees of the New York event.
